The great hunting country of Uganda is not only home to an amazing variety of wildlife but the scenery is second to none. Great hunting, great fishing, great national parks and let’s not forget the chance to spend a little time with Mountain Gorillas if so desired. It has rapidly become one of the most noted places for superb hunting.  We have clients that have hunted there three times! 

Our outfitter is excellent in every way. Safari Outfitters only represents one in Uganda for good reason….they are the best! Camps are extraordinary and the areas are truly amazing. Their hunting areas are Kafu, Awa-Lolim, Karamoja North, Karamoja South & Lake M’buro. The premier game animal is the East African Sitatunga. Buffalo hunting is incredible and they are the Nile Buffalo. Some clients come back again just for buffalo hunting. Hunting season is January through December however there are some better times for some species. For instance, Nile Buffalo is best between December and June because the grass is shorter.
