We hunt two large free range conservancies for animals where they are indigenous and have always been. These wild, free range areas offer an authentic plains game hunting experience for trophy quality animals. We hunt three large free range, unfenced conservancies.
The Baviaans River Conservancy is 450,000, 2,5 hours from Port Elizabeth. It has 3 camps, luxurious and with a great atmosphere. The savannah woodlands and thickly wooded valleys of the Baviaansriver conservancy, great management and genetics all contribute to the free range hunting experience and trophy quality.
The Stormberg mountains is 150 000 acres, both these areas are in the Eastern Cape Province. The Vaal Roebuck and plains game in Stormberg are of exceptional quality.
In KwaZulu Natal we hunt the Umkomaas conservancy, a 150 000 acre area of prime unfenced free range hunting.
The time available and priority animals will determine which areas we hunt and how long we spend in each area. All animals are hunted in their indigenous environments and with such a vast hunting area we are able to keep the hunting pressure low while maintaining the high trophy standards we set for ourselves.
The Baviaansriver and Umkomaas conservancies are not high fenced, free range areas with a large variety of trophy quality indigenous animals that move freely throughout these areas. All hunting is done out of these camps, in these conservancies.
The Umkomaas conservancy and the Baviaansriver conservancy are a total of a million acres of free range country with unbelievable trophy quality and game numbers.  The areas offer very different terrain and hunting. The Umko has a tented camp and the Baviaansriver a classical lodge. Depending on priority animals and duration of the safari we would hunt one area or a combination of both.
