At top of the pyramid stands the mighty Alta Argali, the largest wild sheep in the world as far as body and horn size. He is not only the undisputed king but also the ultimate dream of any sheep hunter to hunt.
The only gateway to Mongola is through its capital of Ulaanbaatar which can be reached through many of the major European hubs and airlines. For the most part however, travelers arrive there through Istanbul via Turkish airlines.
Most of our Argali camps consist of the traditional Mongolian «Gers» which are made of a wooden lattice frames covered with several layers of felt.They all have wood/dung burning stoves with plenty of headroom and floor space to accommodate all hunters. These Gers have been used for at least 2,000 years n all Central Asa and even n extreme cold and windy conditions, provide for a safe shelter and comfortable stay.

8 hunting days are required for Alta Argali hunt. 2 days of traveling – 1 day in and 1 day out – and 1 day in UB makes the whole hunt an 11 day program. On the other hand, the hunt can be practically completed in 3-4 days due to pre-scouting efforts of the local guides prior to the hunt. However, it is our company policy to reserve 9 full days for the hunt to be on the safe side.
