WINTER-SPRING HUNTS

The winter hunt takes place from about 01 March to 11 April. It is a wonderful hunting season and the chances of seeing the Arctic Five (Muskox, Caribou (female), Arctic fox, Snow hare and grouse) are particularly high at this time of year.
The hunting is done by a combination of snowmobile or quad and stalking by foot. If a herd is in sight, you will start stalking. Besides Muskox, you can hunt for Grouse, Snow hare, Arctic fox and Caribou (female). You can also try ice fishing and take a tour with the sledge dogs. Accommodation is provided in Kangerlussuaq.

SUMMER - FALL HUNTS

The summer/autumn season on the musk ox extends from 01 August to 15 October. The game population is good and the chances of shooting a strong trophy bull are excellent. The starting point for the hunt is a comfortable lodge, which is situated directly on a fjord and can be reached by boat.
The camp is in the middle of the hunting area and sometimes you can spot muskoxen directly from the camp. You often take the boat and search for muskox or you stalk at predestined places in the inland. There is also the unique opportunity to hunt for caribou bulls. You can get to the habitat areas by a combination of boat trip and foot stalking. You have to be prepared for long distances of stalking and a good physical condition is a must for a successful hunt.
