CHAD

Exclusive Hunting Chad

Chad is a unique country to hunt as most hunters of Africa never manage to experience it. If you are collecting however, this hunt is a must for you and we work with the best in this country who also happens to be our long-time outfitter in Cameroon.

Hunts take place in the Melfi area of the Guera region. The terrain consists of plains and savannah bush covered hills. Here you will find the least hunted of all the kudu species….the Western Greater Kudu. Success is high and the population of this species is quite good. Also in good numbers is the Red-fronted Gazelle and a must for collectors. At this time, Chad is the only place where you can hunt these animals. Hunting season is from January through April. Species such as Western Roan, Nigerian Bohor Reedbuck, Harnessed Bushbuck and Lelwel Hartebeest are also possible depending on quota availability.

Since 2023 our area has managed to obtain some quotas for Central African Buffalo which has been closed for many years and at this time, they can only be hunted in Chad. This is a unique opportunity and quotas are very limited.

N’djamena to camp by car is about 9 hours.  One hour and thirty minutes by air charter if preferred.
