CAMEROON

Big Game Safari Cameroon

Cameroon is a marvelous country for those who would like to hunt big game. We operate from the two best areas for Western antelopes in all Cameroon. You will be hunting the mighty Lord Derby Eland as well as Korrigum, Western Roan, Western African Buffalo but also Sing Sing Waterbuck, Central Kob, Bohor Reedbuck, Harnessed Bushbuck, Western Hartebeest, Red Flanked Duiker…

Our Niwa hunting area is at 6 hours by car from Garoua bordering the Bouba Ndjida National Park. Our Faro hunting area is at 4 hours by car from Garoua bordering the Faro National Park.
Both areas (approximately 200,000 hectares each) are characterized by the huge density of game you will see every day and the fact that it is home to an incredible number of Elands. Our success rate over the years has always been 100%. Niwa area has also the largest population of Korrigums in all Africa (100% success).

The hunting camps are made up of several comfortable, air-conditioned bungalows, each with an adjoining private bathroom.
Forest hunting is exciting and the local trackers with their dogs are expert hunters. Hunting is mainly on foot, but also from blinds settled near the edge of large clearings.
We hunt from an excellent hunting area where the most interesting species are Bongo, Dwarf Buffalo and Forest Sitatunga, some of which make splendid trophies. The population of bongos is impressive and there is probably one of the largest populations of dwarf buffaloes in all of Africa!
Our forest concession is only 6 hours by car from Yaoundé (comfortable vehicle with A/C) so we do not need to charter a plane.
The best hunting period to hunt bongo is in May, June and July. Hunters will have the possibility to hunt also forest duikers and red river hog but also dwarf buffalo and forest sitatunga with a bonus fee.
Located at altitude with a pleasant climate and a remarkable view of the surrounding forest, the main camp consists of comfortable rooms each with its own bathroom. There is also a satellite camp located two and a half hours from the main camp that allows quick access to an area rich in bongo.
