Bulgaria is an attractive destination for big game hunting, the diverse nature compound by plains, lowlands and mountains, the free ranges areas and the impressive high fenced areas makes it a very nice choice for hunters.  
The variety of big game species in Bulgaria includes red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, mouflon, chamois, European, wolf, Golden jackal, fox or capercaillie which are hunted by stalking, from high stand or on driven hunt.
Right now is the only European country where you can hunt the beautiful Capercaillie, it is a very challenging bird, not easy and only during the rut will give you a good chance to hunt it.
