Siberian Snow Sheep
This is one of the best values in sheep hunting today. The sheep are beautifully and distinctively marked making this a much sought after trophy. The quality and quantity of sheep is exceptional and the Yakutian crew are hard working and professional.
A relatively simple itinerary is involved. You will fly to Moscow, are met by our crew, then fly on to Yakutsk. You’ll then chopper into our exclusive hunting area that has produced sheep up to 42”. Enjoy 10-full hunting days and plan on a 14-day schedule from the U.S. Accommodations are in tented camps equipped with stoves. If the sheep are widely disbursed, we encourage spike camping and have supplied the camps with the necessary equipment.
Koryak Snow Sheep
The vast, remote Koryak region is home to Koryak sheep and moose. Sheep hunts are based from remote camps in the Vetveyskiy Mountains where elevations are relatively low, going up to about 5000 feet.
The terrain consists of mostly low, rolling type country. Due to the difficult logistics and the extremely remote nature of this hunting area, there have been only a handful of hunters that have ventured into this region. Sheep populations are strong and there is an excellent opportunity for big rams. All hunting is done on foot from a tented base camp. You and your guide may fly camp in the hunting area for a night or two, depending on where sheep are being seen.
Rams will be in the 32-38” category with hunts taking place in August and September.
