Mozambique (Niassa) kbs

Travel, Food, Lodging and other information:

Arrival city is Pemba which can be accessed from Harare Zimbabwe or Johannesburg RSA. Air charter to camp. Accommodations are thatched chalet, lodge style or tented depending on where you are hunting. Meals like the accommodations are top notch in every respect. If overnights are required before or after your safari, they can offer their luxurious Pemba Beach Lodge. They also arrange for saltwater fishing.

Success on Large Leopard and Big Buffalo is very high with this outfitter.  Hunting takes place in the superb concessions of the Lower Lupande, West Petauke, Mwanya and Chikwa. Great population of both species along with large numbers of plainsgame, Hippo and Croc. Only one of their four concessions requires an air charter which can make a big difference in the total cost of your safari. Additional areas can be combined with this safari for Sitatunga, Black Lechwe, Tsessebe, Common Reedbuck, Oribi, Sable & Roan.

Arrival city is Lusaka. Lower Lupande and Mwanya require a short domestic flight to Mfuwe from Lusaka and then there is a 3 hour drive to the camps. Accommodations are thatched chalet with en suite. Meals are prepared by professional chefs using fresh ingredients and served by skilled staff. While in Zambia be sure to visit Livingstone and the incredibly beautiful Victoria Falls.

In Zimbabwe, this outfitter is most certainly one of the very best in the business with a long history of family involvement in the safari industry. Good numbers of game, high success rates, great trophy quality…you can’t go wrong here.  Hunting season is pretty much year around however we recommend May-Nov. Earlier is typically better for cats.
